As I continue to research any and all elements of the paranormal/ paranormal research, it is painfully obvious that there are numerous methods of trying to accumulate evidence. To make one point very clear - I am not in the business of "debunking" anything. I am about the business of trying to find valid and credible proof. To each his own. All of the methods that I plan to employ consist of using existing science and scientific methods to help cultivate new science and new scientific methods. As I investigate, I will be keeping close track of humidity, barometric pressure, the presence/ absence of electro magnetic fields and temperature (the same 'ol same). I will also rely semi-heavily on evp evidence. EVP evidence will only be accepted if the external conditions around the recording device are controlled (or at least as controlled as possible). I would like to also rely heavily on video if possible, but the same rules for evp apply to video. There are too many variables that can influence the evidence. I will be conducting investigations in the daytime as well as at night. It may be easier to photograph a ghost at night but I would be hard pressed to believe that if there are ghosts that they are relegated to nocturnal activities. Being that I live in lower middle TN, I plan to start with some of the local legends and urban myths. Future trips are in the works to visit some of the more well known locations throughout the southern region of the nation. As the research grows, so too will my travels. Photos and videos of my excursions will be posted on this blog for independent analysis. Comments and feedback are very welcome, just as long as it is respectful. I welcome any and all interested parties (truly interested parties).
